Job summary

Chubb European Group Ltd. seeks a Business Development professional to bridge the company with agents and partners promoting our suite of products and services to end customers. You will understand strategy, underwriting appetite, compliance and service processes, and translate market trends into opportunities.

Your role focuses on driving IDP objectives while helping partners achieve their personal and professional goals, with emphasis on engagement, recruitment and campaign management.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential business opportunities from agent’s network and existing portfolio.
• Participate in industry events and conferences; provide market and trend feedback to the team.
• Present to mid- and senior-level management on business trends to develop new services/products for independent distribution partners.
• Leverage market and competitor insights to define differentiators and unique selling propositions.
• Drive opportunities with partners and underwriters to procure new business.
• Collaborate with partners on joint field work with or without underwriters.
• Work with partners and underwriters to achieve targeted retention and profitable portfolio mix.
• Demonstrate disciplined sales management through planned reviews and target setting across partners.
• Track production trends to maintain a robust pipeline and meet sales targets for new business and renewals.
• Prospect and recruit new distribution partners to meet recruitment targets and expand production.
• Activate distribution partners to increase productivity and upgrade agent tiers.
• Support activities to reach recruitment goals.
• Supplement core training to ensure partners can professionally represent the business.
• Develop agent careers through expansion, progression and continuity planning.
• Initiate and execute campaigns to create cross-sell and up-sell opportunities and maintain incentives.
