Job summary

Monee is a leading digital payments and financial services provider in Southeast Asia, with a growing presence in Latin America. The Strategy and Operations Specialist role supports strategic planning and business improvement across key verticals, backed by data-driven insights.

You will partner with Operations, Product, Risk, Compliance, and Business teams to diagnose challenges, plan actions, and drive execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and above in Finance, General Business, Business Analytics or in a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in strategy & operations, business analysis, consulting, fintech, retail banking, or financial institutions.
• Structured thinking, research, and slide-writing capability.
• Proven data analytics expertise to support business performance tracking and informed decision-making.
• Strong problem-solving skills, proactive attitude, and willingness to take initiative in driving actions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market, competitor, and internal business research to identify business improvement opportunities, and support strategic planning across key business verticals.
• Monitor business performance and prepare management reports and business review materials, providing data-driven insights to support decision-making and performance improvement.
• Support strategic and transformation projects across multiple business functions, including credit, payments, insurance, and banking, from opportunity assessment through implementation, execution tracking, and performance review.
• Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Operations, Product, Risk, Compliance, and Business teams to diagnose business challenges, align action plans, and drive project execution.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and process improvement opportunities through data analysis, market insights, and stakeholder engagement.
• Work with senior stakeholders on business planning, business reviews, and other group-level strategic initiatives.
