About the Job

Responsibilities:

  1. Work with internal and external technical teams to identify, define, and pursue site selection projects and initiatives necessary to meet Google’s ongoing data center needs.
  2. Lead data center site evaluations and selection processes, monitor progress against objectives, and provide regular status reports and financial metrics to support portfolio decisions.
  3. Lead the acquisition of appropriate data centers and develop strategic agreements with vendors, landowners, and key suppliers for space and utility services.
  4. Manage the strategy for ongoing growth at existing sites and develop metrics for mapping and tracking portfolio management issues regarding site/infrastructure development.
  5. Develop an inclusive workplace for colleagues in day-to-day interactions and conversations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Real Estate, Public Policy, Finance, Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience negotiating bilateral real estate and infrastructure agreements.
  • Experience managing project delivery, including scope, time, and budget.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in economic development policy, financial modeling, infrastructure development, agreement drafting/redlining, and presentation development.
  • Experience with power transmission and distribution, telecommunications infrastructure, data center technology, and electrical and cooling technology.
  • Experience with real estate markets within Asia Pacific region and establishing infrastructure in these markets.
  • Ability to provide both commercial and technical solutions.
