Job summary

VF Corporation is seeking a Senior Manager, Materials and Mill Strategy in Singapore to shape and execute global material sourcing strategy. You will build a strategically segmented mill base, leverage SPM data, and translate brand inputs into actionable portfolio plans across brands.

You will lead data-backed decisions, drive supplier engagement, and collaborate with Material Sourcing, PLM, and DT teams to optimize material lifecycle and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of supplier segmentation, mill capabilities, and sourcing strategies.
• Experience using Supplier Performance Management frameworks to inform strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a strategically segmented mill base that supports VF’s Apparel Sourcing strategy.
• Incorporate SPM results (quality, delivery, costing, innovation, sustainability) to evaluate and optimize Tier 2 supplier performance.
• Partner with Material Sourcing teams to gather inputs and translate them into mill portfolio strategies reflecting brand needs.
• Enable Material Sourcing teams to lead supplier engagement by providing data-backed mill strategies and rationales.
• Support supplier onboarding, offboarding, and reallocation decisions based on performance and strategic fit.
• Drive material rationalization and lifecycle management to improve development efficiency.
• Lead seasonal lifecycle reviews of core materials to align with sourcing goals.
• Oversee material lifecycle planning, onboarding, circulation, inventory, and end-of-life transitions.
• Act as strategic partner to brand Material Sourcing Development and Sourcing teams.
