Job summary

Applied Materials is seeking a Senior Materials/Procurement professional for our Singapore operations. The role focuses on forecasting, supplier negotiations, and leading a materials core team to support product development and manufacturing.

You will coordinate with engineering to interpret requirements, manage risk, and drive cost-effective material strategies, with travel of about 10% and relocation support available.

Responsibilities

• Forecasts and communicates engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements to suppliers.
• Leads materials core team and coordinates product development deliverables.
• Creates, releases and updates project materials strategy with minimal supervision.
• Assists in supplier price and delivery negotiations; may negotiate contracts as necessary.
• Monitors supplier performance (delivery, quality, cost) and resolves issues.
• Coordinates source selection, specification creation and price negotiation.
