Job summary

TYCO Fire & Building Products Asia is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to support customers by identifying needs and proposing standard and engineered solutions and services, aligning with product standards and quality requirements. Work closely with sales, customer service, product management and technical teams to develop technically sound proposals.

You will be the primary contact for clients, handle inquiries, prepare quotations, and manage opportunities in Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or relevant engineering studies preferred.
• Project management skill required.
• Team leadership and facilitation ability.
• Independent worker with a can-do attitude.
• Knowledge of import/export regulations, SAP, Salesforce and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Be the key point of contact for clients; answer queries and provide technical information for new products or modifications.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across all levels; coordinate new and repeat sales; ensure customer satisfaction.
• Handle enquiries; prepare, send and follow up on quotations; maintain up-to-date opportunity pipeline in Salesforce.
• Provide reliable solutions for commercial and basic technical issues to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Cross-function from Water Mechanical to Special Hazard BU; learn Engineered and Foam systems; contribute to order fulfillment and cost-benefit analysis.
• Participate in weekly meetings with factory for order fulfillment and collaborate with demand planning for forecasts.
