Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a procurement specialist to manage indirect and CAPEX purchasing across assigned sites. You will oversee PR-to-PO processes, run RFx exercises, create POs, and coordinate with accounts payable and suppliers to resolve inquiries.

The role requires hands-on SAP ERP and SAP Ariba experience, plus strong stakeholder collaboration and supplier performance monitoring to optimize procurement efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain or related.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in indirect and/or CAPEX procurement/purchasing.
• Good understanding of PR-to-PO process (PR-to-PO).
• Experience conducting 3-bid exercises/RFx activities and managing suppliers.
• Experience supporting or conducting supplier negotiations for lower-value purchases/contracts.
• Hands-on SAP ERP experience in procurement/purchasing is highly advantageous.
• SAP Ariba experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational purchasing activities for indirect goods/services and CAPEX across assigned sites.
• Review and validate PRs and ensure purchases follow procurement/approval processes.
• Manage 3-bid exercises and RFx activities.
• Create and manage POs, obtain supplier confirmations and expedit e orders for timely delivery.
• Maintain purchasing data in SAP accurately.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable and suppliers to resolve invoice/GRIR queries.
• Support procurement stakeholders in supplier negotiations for low-value contracts.
• Manage supplier issues, non-conformance, returns with internal teams.
• Monitor supplier performance and escalate issues as needed.
• Promote e-catalogues, SAP Ariba and other purchasing channels to improve efficiency.
• Maintain data integrity and comply with procurement procedures.
