Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd (Healthcare & Lifescience) is seeking an Indirect Operational Buyer for a 1-year contract to manage procurement across sites in Singapore. You will oversee PR validation, bid activities, PO creation, and supplier coordination with SAP systems.

The role requires a diploma/degree in supply chain or logistics with at least 5 years of indirect/CAPEX procurement experience. Collaboration with Accounts Payable and suppliers is essential to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Min Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or similar with at least 5 years of relevant indirect and/or CAPEX procurement experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational purchasing for indirect goods/services and CAPEX across sites.
• Review and validate PRs and ensure adherence to procurement and approval processes.
• Lead competitive bidding, including 3-bid processes and RFx activities.
• Create and manage POs, obtain supplier confirmations and expedite orders.
• Maintain purchasing data in SAP with accuracy.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable and suppliers to resolve queries.
• Support stakeholders in low-value contract negotiations and supplier discussions.
• Handle supplier issues including non-conformance and returns with internal teams.
• Monitor supplier performance and escalate issues as needed.
• Promote e-catalogues, SAP Ariba and other approved channels to improve efficiency.
• Maintain data integrity and compliance with procedures.
