Job summary

Penanshin Shipping Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced HR Manager to oversee human resources and administrative functions, ensuring compliance with local employment regulations and building strong HR processes aligned with business objectives.

The role covers payroll, statutory compliance (MON, CPF, IRAS), employee relations, policy development, and data privacy. You will mentor HR staff and partner with department heads to drive organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Degree in HRM/Business Administration or related field.
• Master’s degree or HR certification (IHRP) preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience with 5 years in a managerial role.

Responsibilities

• Lead full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, onboarding offboarding, performance management, engagement, benefits and compensation, training and development.
• Oversee full-cycle payroll processing and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Ensure compliance with MON, CPF and IRAS; manage work pass applications/renewals, tax clearances, and statutory contributions.
• Handle employee relations, grievances, and labour relations in a compliant manner.
• Develop and implement HR strategies; partner with department heads on manpower planning and budgeting.
• Maintain PDPA-compliant employee records and confidential files.
• Identify and apply for government skills/manpower grants and training claims.
