Job summary

PENANSHIN SHIPPING PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced HR Manager to oversee HR and administrative functions for our Singapore operations. You will drive recruitment, onboarding, payroll, compliance with MON/CPF/IRAS, and employee relations to support both operations and strategy.

Lead HR initiatives, develop policies, manage grants and claims, and mentor HR staff while ensuring PDPA compliance and timely reporting for a dynamic workforce.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field; master’s degree or HR certification/IHRP preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive HR management experience, including 5 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
• Proven cross-functional HR leadership and partnership with business units.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HR leadership and operations across recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, performance management, engagement, benefits and compensation, training and development.
• Manage end-to-end payroll processing to ensure accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
• Ensure statutory compliance with MON, CPF, IRAS, work passes, tax clearances, and annual declarations.
• Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and labor relations.
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals; assist with manpower planning and budgeting.
• Maintain confidential records in compliance with PDPA.
• Identify and process government grants and training claims.
