Job summary

SMTP Consult Pte. Ltd. is seeking a strategic, analytical and project-oriented professional to support business development initiatives and key strategic projects.

You will work closely with management to identify and evaluate opportunities, develop practical recommendations and drive initiatives from strategy through execution, including international expansion and cross-functional improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Management, Economics, Finance or a related discipline. An MBA is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in strategy, management consulting, business development, project management or a related field.
• Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, international business or a multi-market environment is preferred.
• PMP certification is highly preferred, with demonstrated hands-on experience managing projects from planning through implementation.
• Strong strategic and analytical capabilities with the ability to translate information into practical recommendations and action plans.
• Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables simultaneously.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills with confidence across functions and senior management.
• Commercially minded, proactive and results-oriented, with the ability to identify opportunities and take ownership of initiatives.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel overseas when required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, industries, competitors and opportunities to identify growth areas.
• Evaluate strategic partnerships, investments, M&A opportunities and other development initiatives.
• Conduct research and prepare analyses and recommendations for management decisions.
• Support international market expansion strategies and business plans.
• Monitor market developments and identify implications for the business.
• Lead strategic projects from planning through execution and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Translate priorities into action plans, milestones and deliverables.
• Identify risks and dependencies and develop practical solutions.
• Provide regular project updates to management.
• Drive internal initiatives relating to process improvement and operational effectiveness.
• Collaborate with departments to implement improvements and align with objectives.
• Support management in strategic planning sessions and business reviews.
• Undertake ad hoc strategic initiatives as assigned by management.
