Job summary

Baker Hughes in Singapore seeks an experienced Sourcing Advisor - Buying/Procurement to lead strategic sourcing for subsea control systems. You will coordinate across project teams, clients, and supply chains to select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and optimize total cost of ownership.

The role requires 3–7 years in sourcing or contract management, a bachelor's in a related field, and familiarity with SAP, Oracle, Ariba or Coupa.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field.
3–7 years of sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or contract management experience.
3+ years leading sourcing activities within EPC, construction, energy, oil & gas, chemicals, utilities, renewables, or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with project objectives, budgets, and schedules.
Support competitive bidding processes including RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and tender evaluations.
Identify, qualify, and onboard suppliers meeting technical, commercial, and operational requirements.
Drive total cost of ownership improvements and cost-reduction initiatives.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and framework agreements with Product Lines.
