Job summary

MyRepublic in Singapore is seeking a detailed‑oriented Credit Controller to manage and monitor customer accounts, perform aging reviews, prepare Statements of Account, and escalate long‑outstanding balances. You will reconcile payments, review credit information, identify risks, handle disputes, and support process improvements with a focus on accuracy and timely collections.

We value strong Excel skills, independent ownership, and clear communication with internal teams and customers.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, Collection, or related finance operations.
• Good understanding of credit control, collection processes, and payment reconciliation.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills with good attention to detail.
• Independent, proactive, and able to take ownership of assigned accounts and tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers and internal stakeholders professionally.
• Language Proficiency - High
• Good Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with financial or customer account data.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments and minimise overdue receivables through email, phone, walk-ins, or other appropriate channels.
• Perform credit control and collection activities, including aging review, preparation of Statements of Accounts, customer follow-ups, payment arrangements, and escalation of long-outstanding accounts.
• Perform payment reconciliation and ensure customer accounts are accurately updated.
• Review customer credit information, identify potential credit risks, and recommend appropriate credit control actions where required.
• Handle customer disputes and payment queries, working with relevant teams to resolve issues and facilitate collection.
• Prepare and review Statements of Account, aging reports, collection updates, and other credit control reports.
• Support credit control process improvements, system enhancements, and UAT initiatives to improve collection efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform payment reconciliation and investigate discrepancies to ensure customer accounts are accurately maintained.Support legal, small claims tribunal, write-off, negative listing, and other recovery activities where required.
• Perform other ad hoc tasks and projects assigned by the line manager.
