Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a qualified lawyer or legal professional to review customer and supplier contracts, amendments, confidentiality agreements and other commercial documents.

The role focuses on identifying legal, commercial, financial, operational and compliance risks, providing preliminary comments and risk-mitigation suggestions, and coordinating with Sales, Product, Finance and Legal teams to secure timely approvals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Law or related discipline.
3 to 5 years of experience in commercial contract review or related function.
Experience reviewing and supporting negotiations of customer and supplier agreements.
Understanding of common contract provisions including liability, indemnity, confidentiality and governing law.
Strong organisation and document management skills.

Responsibilities

Review contracts, amendments, NDAs and other commercial documents.
Identify risks and highlight issues requiring approval or review.
Provide preliminary comments and risk-mitigation suggestions.
Work with Sales and Product to understand commercial background and negotiation priorities.
Coordinate approvals from Finance, Quality, Supply Chain and Legal.
Support contract discussions and negotiations with customers and suppliers.
Maintain accurate contract records and negotiation history.
Monitor outstanding actions and follow up with stakeholders.
Escalate material risks and non-standard provisions to Legal or management.
Contribute to improving templates, guidelines and training materials.
