Job summary

AECOM Singapore Pte Ltd invites a seasoned commercial professional to lead pre- and post-contract activities within our Pre-Contract, Bids & Risk discipline. You will drive tender reviews, negotiate contracts, and oversee variations and claims for major infrastructure projects.

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years in commercial management for engineering/infrastructure programs, with strong knowledge of FIDIC, NEC3/4, JCT, and relevant Singapore standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is required.
• 15+ years of commercial or contract management experience in consulting, with at least 5 years in leadership.
• Full lifecycle expertise: pre-contract bidding, risk, procurement; post-contract variations and disputes.
• Experience on complex multi-disciplinary engagements with large-value pursuits (> US$5M).
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and commercial law incl. FIDIC, NEC, JCT, and local standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial reviews of tender documents and identify risks, opportunities, and key positions.
• Negotiate contracts with clients and coordinate inputs across finance, legal, HR, insurance, tax, and risk.
• Manage variations end-to-end and conduct forensic analysis for claims and dispute resolution.
• Prepare claims, negotiate settlements, and communicate contract scope and additional work.
• Develop standard commercial models, tools, and governance; mentor project leaders.
