Job summary

Renowned A1 Building Contractor is seeking an experienced Assistant Contracts Manager to provide commercial and contractual support to the project team in Singapore. You will coordinate with internal stakeholders, review contracts, and manage variations and progress claims to ensure timely certification.

The ideal candidate holds a degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent and has at least 10 years of main contractor experience, preferably

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of contract administration, claims, variations and contract negotiation.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with a main contractor.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial and contractual support to the project team on matters relating to the main contract and subcontractors
• Coordinate with internal project stakeholders to ensure subcontract obligations, deliverables and key milestones are properly managed
• Review contractual requirements, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies and contractual obligations
• Manage variations, change control and related commercial negotiations throughout the project lifecycle
• Prepare and submit monthly progress claims, including the necessary supporting documentation, for assessment and certification
