Job summary

Thales Group in Singapore invites a Bid Manager to lead end-to-end bid processes. You will work with Capture Leads and cross-functional teams to develop high-quality, competitive proposals that align with customer requirements and procurement governance.

The role emphasizes managing qualification to submission, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining governance standards while driving winning strategies in a complex global matrix organization.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience with public procurement processes, tenders, or government contracts an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead bid opportunities in collaboration with Capture Leads, contributing to capture plans and winning strategies.
• Drive end-to-end bid management from qualification and planning through proposal development, submission, and post-submission activities.
• Understand customer requirements, objectives, pain points, and evaluation criteria as outlined in RFPs, tenders, and change requests.
• Assess and articulate competitive advantages, value propositions, and differentiators to strengthen proposals.
• Establish and maintain a consistent bid management approach across opportunities using approved tools and governance.
• Coordinate preparation, consolidation, and review of bid deliverables ensuring quality and compliance.
• Facilitate bid reviews and approvals, addressing risks, dependencies, assumptions, and issues.
• Monitor bid progress and resolve issues affecting quality, cost, schedule, or submission.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Capture, Sales, Solution, Engineering, Finance, Commercial, Legal, Support and Services to develop integrated proposals.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and consistent communication throughout the bid lifecycle.
