Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Singapore is seeking a Senior Business Development professional to develop long-term customer relationships and craft innovative supply chain solutions.

You will explore opportunities within existing customers, differentiate offerings, grow revenue, and lead renewal RFQ/tender responses. Strong cross-functional collaboration and negotiation skills are essential for driving growth with global clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or Sales.
• At least 5 years of experience in solutioning and/or business development in the 3PL industry.
• Experience managing and developing high level customer relationships in complex global and regional corporations.
• Experience selling and marketing supply chain solutions focusing on warehousing and distribution.
• Strong sales and change management experience with numeracy and verbal reasoning.
• Regional/local market knowledge and commercial understanding.
• Good negotiation skills and understanding of contract law.
• Customer-facing ability for local and international clients and requirement interpretation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Develop long term customer relationships and work with customers on innovative supply chain solutions.
• Explore untapped opportunities within existing customers portfolio and assess offerings for proposals.
• Ensure our offering to customers is unique and differentiates us from competition (sustainability, automation, quality).
• Grow revenue and profit by identifying and securing growth (market share or new services).
• Manage renewal RFQ/tender responses for existing customers portfolio.
• Undertake sales presentations to customers for new initiatives and proposals.
• Distribute reports timely in alignment with customers.
