Job summary

Tyson Jay Management Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced outlet manager to lead day‑to‑day operations of a food retail outlet. You will oversee opening/closing, cash handling, and POS controls while driving sales and staff performance.

You will recruit and train the team, manage rosters and payroll inputs, and control staffing costs within budget. A Food Hygiene certification is required or pursued immediately.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of F&B or food retail operations experience, including at least 1–2 years supervising a team.
• Valid Food Hygiene certification, or willingness to obtain it immediately, with familiarity with SFA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-opening preparations and manage daily outlet operations, including opening and closing, cash handling, POS controls and sales reconciliation.
• Recruit, train, roster and supervise the store team, maintain attendance and payroll inputs, and manage staffing costs within budget.
• Plan baking and product-finishing schedules around demand, maintain consistent quality and presentation, and support counter duties when required.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards, licensing documentation and audit readiness, while monitoring expiry dates and reducing wastage.
• Lead customer service, resolve complaints and product concerns, oversee refunds and pre-orders, and coach staff on product knowledge.
• Forecast stock requirements, place replenishment orders and maintain accurate product and packaging inventories for normal and peak trading periods.
• Coordinate with venue management on reporting and promotional requirements, and deliver campaigns, seasonal launches and temporary sales events.
• Track sales, stock and waste using spreadsheets, report performance against targets, and recommend improvements to pricing, promotions and product mix.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of F&B or food retail operations experience, including at least 1–2 years supervising a team; bakery or department-store concession experience is strongly preferred.
• Valid Food Hygiene certification, or willingness to obtain it immediately, with familiarity with SFA requirements and readiness to handle counter work and baking or product finishing.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills to maintain sales and stock trackers independently; inventory planning or import logistics experience is an advantage.
• Able to work retail shifts, weekends, public holidays and extended hours during peak periods; experience supporting store openings or team build-outs is helpful.
