Job summary

PERSOL Singapore is seeking an experienced Store Operations Leader to manage recruitment, training, performance and day-to-day store activities. You will drive customer service, sales, and merchandising while ensuring SOP compliance across shifts.

You will coordinate with HR and Training to develop staff careers, optimize scheduling, and maintain a high-motivation environment. This role emphasizes hands-on leadership and a strong focus on KPI achievement.

Qualifications

• Experience leading store teams and managing retail staff.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coaching and mediation.
• Ability to implement SOPs and company policies across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Involved in the recruitment of store team together with HR team.
• Maintain employee turnover and absenteeism.
• Ensure all new joiners are well-trained and integrated into the environment.
• Work with Training department on training plans and objectives for the Store team.
• Coordinate training schedules and follow up with Training department.
• Develop the Store team individual career path.
• Work with Country Manager on performance objectives and KPIs.
• Conduct performance reviews on a regular basis and provide coaching.
• Propose internal promotions and transfers when necessary.
• Conduct store briefings every shift and plan rosters aligned to traffic and sales trends.
• Ensure grooming and behaviour align with SOPs.
• Collaborate with HR on disciplinary issues.
• Demonstrate company DNA to inspire the team and foster a positive environment.
• Drive daily store operations to achieve sales and profitability targets.
• Communicate KPIs and hourly sales performance to the team.
• Ensure awareness of brand promotions and launch initiatives.
• Provide exceptional customer service and manage customer feedback.
• Maintain merchandising standards and planograms.
• Monitor stock inventory and liaise with Supply Chain on stock issues.
• Train staff on cash handling and shortage prevention; manage deposits.
