Job summary

SEDHA CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced ICT Infrastructure Engineer to support storage and backup infrastructure deployments, migrations, and day‑to‑day operations.

You will implement, optimize, and automate storage workloads while ensuring security compliance and DR readiness. Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in storage engineering, infrastructure operations, or related roles.
• Hands-on with enterprise storage platforms (Hitachi, NetApp, Dell EMC, Pure Storage, HPE).
• Experience with migrations, re-platforming, and data migration projects.
• Knowledge of SAN/NAS/iSCSI/NFS/CIFS and related storage tech.
• Experience with backup platforms (Veritas NetBackup, Commvault, Veeam, Dell EMC NetWorker).
• Automation scripting in Python/Bash/PowerShell; cloud storage knowledge is a plus.
• Exposure to ITIL-aligned operations and security/compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support storage and backup implementation projects and migrations.
• Plan and execute data migrations with minimal production disruption.
• Configure and manage enterprise backup infrastructure and schedules.
• Support DR testing, meet RTO/RPO requirements.
• Monitor storage capacity, performance, and backup jobs.
• Develop security baselines, hardening standards, and audit evidence.
• Ensure compliance with security/regulatory requirements.
• Identify automation opportunities using scripting and AI-assisted tooling.
• Collaborate with server, network, database, app, and security teams.
• Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge-base articles.
