Job summary

User Experience Researchers Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an ICT Infrastructure Engineer for the Prod Ops - Storage team. You'll implement and operate storage and backup infrastructure, drive migrations, and contribute to automation to improve reliability and efficiency.

The role requires 5+ years in storage/infrastructure operations, hands-on experience with enterprise storage platforms, backup tools, and scripting to automate tasks while aligning with security and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in storage engineering or infra operations.
• Hands-on with enterprise storage platforms (Hitachi, NetApp, Dell EMC, Pure Storage, HPE).
• Experience in storage migrations and re-platforming projects.
• Familiarity with SAN, NAS, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS.
• Experience with backup platforms (Veritas NetBackup, Commvault, Veeam, NetWorker).
• Automation experience with scripting for runbooks and data tasks.
• Security hardening and compliance awareness in storage/backup.
• Proficient in Python, Bash, or PowerShell; AI-assisted tooling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support storage and backup implementation projects and migrations.
• Design and implement robust storage/backup solutions for production workloads.
• Lead data migrations with minimal disruption and secure practices.
• Decommission legacy storage and onboard new platforms.
• Manage backup policies, schedules, and retention settings.
• Support disaster recovery testing and data recovery objectives.
• Migrate backup workloads to modern platforms with continuity of data protection.
• Ensure security/compliance throughout storage/backup projects.
• Develop security baseline docs and test case documentation.
• Document processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
