Job summary

Over Easy in Singapore is seeking a dedicated kitchen team member to set up and stock dish stations, ensure clean plates and pans are ready, and keep the cooking line fully stocked before service. You will also manage waste, organise kitchenware, maintain the dishwashing area, and help keep the entire kitchen clean at the end of each shift.

Only Permanent Residents or Singaporeans are considered for this role.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and stocking dish stations with all necessary supplies.
• Getting the dish pit ready, setting up sinks, and ensuring the cooking line is fully stocked before service.
• Cleaning up station and managing waste, washing and sanitising plates, glassware, and cookware.
• Arranging and organizing kitchenware for quick access by cooks.
• Handling stock inventory of cleaning supplies and janitorial items.
• Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and sweeping/mopping floors at shift end.

You'll be in charge of:

• Setting up and stocking up stations with all necessary supplies:Getting the dish pit ready, setting up proper chemical washing sinks, and ensuring the cooking line is fully stocked with clean plates and pans before service.
• Cleaning up station and managing waste:Scraping, washing, and sanitising all incoming plates, glassware, cutlery, and heavy cookware using the commercial dishwasher and manual wash sinks.
• Arranging and organizing kitchenware:Properly sorting and stacking clean items back into their designated storage areas so cooks can access them instantly.
• Handling stock inventory appropriately:Organizing incoming deliveries of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and janitorial items into the correct storage areas.
• Maintaining kitchen cleanliness:Keeping the dishwashing area spotless, clearing away trash bins, and sweeping/mopping the floors at the end of the shift.
