Argyll Scott is recruiting a Site Reliability Engineer for a leading global investment bank in Singapore. You will join a small, high-impact team supporting its FX trading platform, ensuring availability, resilience and rapid incident response.

You will automate operational tasks, lead root cause analysis and blameless post-mortems, and oversee monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and OpenTelemetry.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Production Support, SRE or DevOps in trading/finance.
• Strong Linux/Unix, SQL and shell scripting; Python/Java capable.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools and incident response.
• Familiarity with cloud, containers and CI/CD; Agile mindset.
• Understanding of FX/trading lifecycle and risk-aware ops.

Responsabilités

• Respond rapidly to production incidents on the FX platform and keep stakeholders updated.
• Lead root cause analyses and post-mortems; drive automation to prevent repeats.
• Maintain platform availability with checks, alerts, and change management alignment.
• Build/enhance monitoring; automate manual work to reduce risk.
• Oversee releases and patching; participate in DR and business continuity tests.
• Collaborate with developers, PMs and analysts to deliver scalable features.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to regional/global process improvements.
