Job summary

Schonfeld Strategic Advisors (Singapore) PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to join the Trade & Platform Support Engineering team in Singapore.

You will support a proprietary quantitative-trading platform, collaborating with UK/US teams to ensure 24/7 monitoring and reliable performance. You will work with Portfolio Managers on projects, manage change control, and automate workflows to improve efficiency and resilience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in financial services supporting trading/post-trade systems.
• Experience with large-scale deployments/environments.
• Experience supporting applications in a Linux environment.
• Strong scripting skills: Python, Bash, Shell, Perl.
• Experience developing tools/automation.
• Experience with supporting FIX protocol.
• Understanding of monitoring and performance management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong ownership and delivery track record.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for production issues, requests, and alerts; investigate and resolve incidents in real time.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure and Networking to monitor connectivity and hardware.
• Work with Portfolio Managers on projects and ad-hoc requests.
• Manage regional Change Control and lead Incident Management processes.
• Partner with software teams to deploy code to production smoothly.
• Automate recurring processes and build internal tooling to improve efficiency and resilience.
