Job summary

Versa Networks in Singapore is seeking a passionate Solution Architect to help customers and partners evaluate, adopt, and expand our technology across Secure SD-WAN, SSE, and SASE. You will lead architectural decisions, design state-of-the-art deployments, and drive proof-of-concept testing.

The role demands Mandarin and English fluency, security clearance, deep networking expertise, and the ability to work with large enterprises and government agencies.

Qualifications

• Mandarin and English fluency required.
• Security clearance required as role supports Federal Agencies.
• Experience in planning/designing or operating service provider or large enterprise WAN/LAN networks.
• In depth understanding of TCP/IP protocol stack and operation.
• Knowledge on WAN technologies and protocols like MPLS, MPLS based VPNs, BGP, OSPF, QoS, NAT, Multicast.
• Knowledge in architecting and/or managing large-scale, high performing and resilient Enterprise networking solutions.
• Knowledge on Linux administration.
• Shell scripting, python scripting knowledge.
• Travel may be required to support customers on site.
• Desired Skills:
• - Operational knowledge on next gen firewalls/UTMs, IDS/IPS and malware prevention systems
• - Knowledge on best practices architectures for SaaS applications
• - Hands-on experience in public and private cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, Openstack, VMware
