Job summary

NCS PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned Solution Architect in Singapore to lead enterprise network architecture and transformation initiatives. You will define multi-site solutions, guide presales to delivery, and translate complex technical concepts into business value for clients.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of enterprise networking experience, strong governance skills, and hands-on exposure to SD-WAN, SASE, and cloud connectivity across WAN/LAN/data centre environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise networking experience with architecture exposure across WAN, LAN, wireless, data centre and cloud connectivity.
• Experience with multi-site/branch network transformation, HLD/LLD ownership, routing/switching, HA design, BGP/OSPF, QoS, VRF, dual-circuit design and network migration.
• SD-WAN, SASE/SSE and NaaS service-design exposure.
• Large-scale enterprise network architecture and transformation experience.
• Exposure to SD-WAN, secure internet breakout, SASE/SSE concepts, cloud connectivity, network segmentation, and service-based network delivery; familiarity with NaaS as a service model.
• Strong stakeholder, vendor, and architecture-governance capability.
• Ability to lead architecture discussions with client, vendors, telcos, security, and operations teams; capable of producing architecture options, HLD/LLD, migration approach, risk assessment, and vendor comparison; experience supporting RFP/RFQ, large transformation programmes or managed-service network deals.

Responsibilities

• Solution Delivery: develop detailed architectural documents to deliver business value solutions for customers, including proposal writing and PoC demonstrations when necessary.
• Propose the technical solution and selection of technologies and estimate resources to develop the proposed solution to meet customer requirements.
• Articulate alternatives in terms of cost, benefit and risk where multiple solutions exist.
• Highlight the positive impact of NCS solutions to help customers achieve their business goals.
• Collaborate with network and systems engineers to guide projects from presales/design to final delivery.
• Business Development: be involved in pre-sale activities and review technical solutions and resources; translate complex technical specifications into business-value outcomes for executives.

The Solution Architect is responsible to apply specialized knowledge in a solution development discipline to conceptualize, design, construct, test, implement and optimize systems that enable and support business functions

Solution Delivery

• Ability to develop detail architectural documents to deliver business value solutions for customers, including proposal writing, presentation, conducting Proof-of-Concept to showcase its technical feasibility when necessary
• Propose the technical solution and selection of technologies and estimate resources required to develop the proposed solution to meet our customer\'s requirements

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
• Candidate should have 7+ years of enterprise networking experience, with strong architecture exposure across WAN, LAN, wireless, data centre and cloud connectivity. Experience with multi-site/branch network transformation, HLD/LLD ownership, routing/switching, HA design, BGP/OSPF, QoS, VRF, dual-circuit design and network migration is required.

For this role, we need someone who understands NaaS as a service model, including service catalogue, SLA, RACI, monitoring, reporting, lifecycle refresh, and provider accountability.
• Strong stakeholder, vendor, and architecture-governance capability
• Candidate should be able to lead architecture discussions with client, vendors, telcos, security, and operations teams. They should be comfortable producing architecture options, HLD/LLD, migration approach, risk assessment, technical recommendations, and vendor comparison. Experience supporting RFP/RFQ, large transformation programmes or managed-service network deals will be highly valuable.
• Proficiency in bridging local data centre with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Intensive experience in the analysis, design, implementation and support of medium to large complex applications
• Candidates with experience in following will be highly regarded
• Virtualization technologies
• SD-WAN, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), and next-generation Firewall
• Information Security Management System (ISMS)
