MyRepublic in Singapore seeks an experienced Network Architect to lead the design and deployment of broadband and enterprise network solutions. You will define WAN/LAN architectures, VPN/SD-WAN, and ensure scalable, secure deployments for clients across industries.

The role requires senior expertise, strong communication with clients and internal teams, and the ability to translate complex requirements into practical designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, IT, CS, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in broadband services and network infrastructure design.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCDP preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; customer-focused.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect broadband and private line solutions tailored to client needs.
• Develop end-to-end LAN/WAN infrastructure solutions incl VPN and SD-WAN.
• Conduct site surveys and identify best technical solution.
• Collaborate with sales and product teams to craft proposals and demos.
• Lead solution development while adhering to standards and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance to team members and clients.
• Lead pilots and proofs of concept; evaluate emerging solutions.
• Drive tender responses with diagrams and documentation.
• Ensure documented solutions meet tender specs and SLAs.

Job description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for working cross-functionally to understand architecture needs by multiple business units. To be effective in this position, you must feel comfortable to lead the design and architecture of broadband and network infrastructure solutions for our clients. This role demands extensive expertise in the design of WAN and LAN networks including Internet and private links, firewalls, routers, LAN equipment and WiFi. The architect will work closely with clients

and internal teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of network solutions

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect solutions for broadband and private lines tailored to client requirements, focusing on security, scalability and reliability
• Develop end-to-end network infrastructure solutions covering LAN and WAN architectures, VPN and SDWAN
• Conduct site surveys at client locations to identify the most appropriate technical solution
• Collaborate with sales and product teams to assess client needs, provide strategic guidance, and create compelling proposals and technical demonstrations
• Translate complex technical requirements into clear, client-focused solutions and designs
• Lead solution development, ensuring adherence with industry standards and best practices
• Perform technical assessments and feasibility studies to guide solution designs
• Work with the project management team to ensure timely delivery and installation of network solutions
• Provide technical expertise to support other team members and clients
• Actively explore new technologies and methodologies in network and telco solutions, recommending enhancements to maintain a competitive edge
• Lead pilot projects and proof of concepts to evaluate emerging solution, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals
• Drive the technical aspects of tender responses including detailed diagrams and comprehensive technical documentation
• Collaborate with sales and other teams to craft compelling and compliant proposals that meet client requirements
• Ensure solutions are well-documented and aligned with tender specifications including technical standards, service levels and compliance requirements
• Conduct technical presentations and clarifications to clients

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in broadband services and network infrastructure designs.
• Relevant certifications eg CCNA, CCNP, CCDP, are preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
