A leading organisation in the commodities and trading sector is hiring a Senior Network Engineer (Enterprise / SD-WAN / Security) in Singapore to support and evolve its regional network infrastructure. This role provides global support and focuses on delivering resilient, secure, and scalable connectivity across Asia, spanning LAN, WAN, wireless, SD‑WAN, and cloud environments.
You will take ownership of day‑to‑day network operations across the region, including monitoring, troubleshooting, performance optimisation, and lifecycle management of network infrastructure. In parallel, you will design and deliver next‑generation network solutions, translating business requirements into scalable, high‑availability architectures across on‑premise and cloud environments. The role includes managing network security controls such as firewalls, access control systems, and proxy solutions, as well as load‑balancing platforms. You will contribute to automation and observability initiatives, support global escalation and vendor management, and maintain clear, structured documentation covering network standards, designs, and configurations. Participation in on‑call rotation and global collaboration across time zones is expected.
You bring minimum 8 years of enterprise networking experience with strong expertise in routing and switching (e.g. Cisco Catalyst/Nexus), dynamic routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP), and SD‑WAN technologies. You have hands‑on experience with network security solutions including firewalls, access control (e.g. Cisco ISE), and proxy technologies, alongside exposure to load balancers (e.g. F5) and wireless deployments. Familiarity with cloud networking in multi‑cloud environments, monitoring tools (e.g. SolarWinds, ThousandEyes), and network automation is important. A CCNP certification (or equivalent) is an advantage. You are a structured problem‑solver who can operate independently, communicate effectively across global teams, and balance operational responsibilities with project delivery in a fast‑paced environment.
