Job summary

COENS ENERGY PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned professional to assist the Senior Commercial Manager in daily commercial operations and contract administration for complex engineering projects, including data centres and hospitals.

The role focuses on cost and budget reporting, resolving contractual issues, and managing RFQ processes with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring accurate reflection of obligations across stakeholders and enabling smooth post-contract execution.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying/Building Sciences/Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in engineering and construction.
• Experience with data centre, hospital, heavy industrial or EPC projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Commercial Manager/Commercial Manager with daily commercial operations.
• Assist with cost and budget reporting.
• Assist with resolving contractual and commercial issues.
• Attend to contract admin and documentation for the project.
• Ensure stakeholders understand and adhere to contractual obligations.
• RFQ procedures with sub-contractors and suppliers for pre/post-contract stages.
• Progress claims with client and/or sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Support in variation and claim procedures.
• Ad hoc duties as determined by management.

JobRequirements:

• Experience in the field of engineering and construction
• Preferably with experience in Data Centre, hospital, heavy industrial and other mission critical complex projects, or EPC contracts.
