Job summary

Honsei Builder Pte. Ltd. is seeking a capable Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimation, claims, and procurement for main contracts and subcontracts arising in site projects.

You will work with project teams to prepare budgets, perform quantity take-offs, verify subcontractor claims, and attend site meetings.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Basic understanding of construction costing, contracts and procurement processes.
• Familiar with QS tools/software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit progress claims for main contracts and subcontract works.
• Support project team on contract administration, variation orders and extension of time (EOT submissions).
• Carry out quantity taking off for structural, architectural and External works and prepare detailed cost breakdowns based on drawings, specifications and requirements.
• Assist in procurement. Source quotations and prepare comparison evaluation.
• Liaise with consultants and seek clarifications on contract scope and variation works.
• Prepare Project Budget for close monitoring with accounts and project team.
• Track material quantity against project budget cost.
• Verify claims from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Settlement of final accounts with client, subcontractors and vendors.
• Handle basic cost related administrative tasks and provide supporting documents.
• Attend Project Site meetings.
