Job summary

COENS ENERGY PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Commercial Assistant to support the Senior Commercial Manager on daily operations and commercial tasks.

You will help with cost and budget reporting, contract administration, and resolving commercial issues across EPC projects, including data centres, hospitals and other mission-critical facilities. The role emphasizes coordination with administration, operations and finance to reflect contractual obligations accurately and maintain

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying/ Building Sciences /Engineering.
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in construction or EPC.
• Experience in data centre, hospital, heavy industrial or mission critical projects preferred.
• Experience with contract administration and cost reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Commercial Manager with daily commercial operations.
• Assist with cost and budget reporting.
• Assist with resolving contractual and commercial problems.
• Attend contract admin & documentation for the project.
• Ensure stakeholders understand and adhere to contractual obligations and reflect them accurately.
• RFQ procedures with subcontractors and suppliers for pre and post-contract stages.
• Progress claims with client and/or subcontractors & suppliers.
• Support in variation and claim procedures.
• Ad hoc duties as determined by management.

• Ensure that all stakeholders, such as administration, operations, and finance understand and adhere to contractual obligations and reflecting them accurately

• Supporting in Variation and Claim procedures.

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying/ Building Sciences /Engineering

• Experience in the field of engineering and construction
• Preferably with experience in Data Centre, hospital, heavy industrial and other mission critical complex projects, or EPC contracts.
