Responsibilities

• Plan and manage roster and deployment of staff in Patient Support Services (Interventional Radiology) in IRC.
• Update and upload patients' materials and information into systems.
• Monitor and maintain service standards for IRC, including supervising hotlines and mailboxes.
• Oversee remote and physical financial counselling for patients and procedure scheduling.
• Supervise daily case preparations, case planning and peri-operative procedures for next day cases.
• Oversee IRC's outpatient clinic operations and billing for all IRC procedures.
• Ensure policies and procedures are kept up to date; support system implementations.
• Provide secretariat support for meetings, including minutes and follow-ups.
• Participate in Quality Improvement projects and initiatives.

Job description

You will manage the patient support operations of the Interventional Radiology Centre (IRC), including billing and charge capture, admissions services, financial counselling, procedure listing and scheduling, case planning and peri-operative coordination, and outpatient clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage roster and deployment of staff in Patient Support Services (Interventional Radiology) in IRC

• Update and upload patients’ related materials and information into systems

• Monitor and maintain service standards for IRC (including supervising the hotlines/ mailboxes, manage patients' feedback, improving workflows)

• Oversee remote and physical financial counselling for patients and IRC's procedure scheduling

• Supervise daily case preparations, case planning and peri-operative procedures for next day cases (eg, ensure complete documentation)

• Oversee IRC's outpatient clinic operations

• Oversee billing for all IRC procedures across inpatient (Elective, Same Day Admissions, Urgent) and outpatient (Day Surgery, Short Stay Ward) settings

• Ensure policies and procedures are kept up to date

• Support implementation of new systems

• Provide secretariat support for meetings (including preparing presentations, organising of meetings, taking minutes of meeting and follow-up on matters arising)

• Participate in Quality Improvement projects and initiatives
