Job summary

Changi General Hospital Pte Ltd. is seeking a qualified nurse to provide specialised direct and indirect care for patients undergoing radiological procedures, guiding fellow staff to deliver optimal outcomes.

The role involves clinical assessment, complex procedures, pre-operative care coordination, preparation for Nuclear Medicine imaging, sterile technique, and on-call duties. Diploma or degree in Nursing and SNB registration are required, with preference for procedural area experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Nursing.
• Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board.
• Experience in procedural area preferred.
• Must be willing to perform on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessment, evaluation and documentation of patients’ condition.
• Perform complex procedures, both non-invasive and invasive within the scope of duties.
• Ensure the safe delivery of patient pre-operatively from reception / recovery to the procedures and vice versa.
• Prepare patients for Nuclear Medicine imaging such as screening patient, setting IV cannula and preparing IV medication etc.
• Ensure and maintain principles of sterility and asepsis procedures and techniques when assisting procedures.

To provide guidance and direction to staff nurses and below, in order to provide optimal care to meet desired patient outcomes and experiences
