Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD.

is seeking a Nursing Services Leader within Diagnostic Imaging Services in Singapore to support leadership, drive continuous improvement, ensure clinical standards, and supervise teams across interventional procedures. You will oversee audits, SOP updates, patient education, and collaboration with radiologists to deliver safe, high-quality care while complying with radiation safety and infection-control requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in clinical leadership within radiology or imaging services.
• Knowledge of clinical governance and quality-improvement processes.
• Strong infection control and radiation safety practice.
• Ability to supervise nursing staff and lead audits.
• Experience supporting interventional procedures with radiologists.

Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with DIS policies, standards and SOPs.
• Coordinate clinical audits and implement evidence-based practices.
• Oversee nursing assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Review consent forms and explain procedures to patients.
• Lead updates of SOPs and competency checklists.
• Provide education and supervision to nursing staff on pre- and post-interventional care.
• Assist radiologists during interventional procedures and sedation cases.
• Monitor documentation and billing accuracy for consumables.
• Promote radiation protection and minimise patient exposure.
• Coordinate emergency response and infection-control measures.
• Contribute to Nursing Quality Committee and governance initiatives.
• Carry out other relevant responsibilities assigned by the Assistant Director or Radiologist.

Job Summary

Support the leadership and continuous improvement of nursing services within Diagnostic Imaging Services (DIS), ensuring consistent clinical standards, effective team supervision, and safe patient care throughout diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with DIS policies, clinical standards, and established operating procedures.
• Coordinate clinical audits and support the implementation of evidence-based practices and appropriate technological advancements to improve service quality.
• Oversee nursing care assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to promote safe and effective patient outcomes.
• Review patient consent documentation for completeness and validity, and explain the planned procedure, examination process, and anticipated duration before the procedure.
• Lead the review and updating of SOPs, WIs, and clinical competency checklists in line with current evidence and departmental requirements.
• Provide guidance and supervision to nursing staff in delivering patient and family education, including pre- and post-interventional care.
• Provide nursing assistance to radiologists during interventional procedures and support moderate sedation cases with radiologists or anaesthetists, in accordance with approved protocols and authorised competencies.
• Monitor the accuracy of procedure documentation and billing for consumables and services rendered.
• Promote compliance with radiation protection requirements and measures to minimise unnecessary exposure.
• Coordinate an appropriate response to clinical emergencies and support adherence to emergency management procedures.
• Promote compliance with infection prevention and control standards.
• Contribute to Nursing Quality Committee meetings, quality improvement projects, and departmental clinical governance initiatives.
• Carry out other relevant responsibilities assigned by the Assistant Director or Radiologist, within the scope of the position.
