Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the spa therapist team to deliver high standards of treatments, guest service and conduct.
• Develop onboarding, treatment protocols, practical assessments and ongoing development plans.
• Conduct hands-on training for facial, body, massage and wellness therapies per The LongevitySuite standards.
• Translate brand protocols into practical therapist training and SOPs with different skincare brands.
• Develop and maintain treatment SOPs, training manuals, competency standards and assessment checklists.
• Conduct regular practical assessments and provide coaching and follow-up.
• Ensure consistency in hand skills, treatment sequence, timing, consultation, hygiene and guest experience.
• Train therapists on safe operation of wellness and biohacking technologies according to approved protocols.
• Support pre-opening preparation including menu familiarisation, SOPs and therapist readiness.
• Coach therapists on guest consultation, treatment recommendations, home care, retail products and membership awareness.

Job description

The Spa Trainer is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the technical training framework for the spa therapist team. The role combines hands-on treatment expertise, coaching and leadership with the ability to build training programmes, SOPs and competency standards from the ground up.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, coach and develop the spa therapist team to consistently deliver high standards of treatments, guest service and professional conduct.
• Develop and implement comprehensive training plans from the ground up, including onboarding, treatment protocols, practical assessments, refresher training and ongoing development plans.
• Conduct hands-on training for facial, body, massage and wellness therapies in accordance with The LongevitySuite standards.
• Work with different professional skincare, body and wellness brands to learn, adapt and translate brand protocols into practical therapist training and SOPs.
• Develop and maintain treatmentSOPs, training manuals, therapist competency standards and assessment checklists.
• Conduct regular practical assessments, identify individual training needs and provide constructive coaching and follow-up.
• Ensure consistency in therapists' hand skills, treatment sequence, timing, consultation, hygiene, room set-up and overall guest experience.
• Train therapists in the safe and confident operation of relevant wellness and biohacking technologies according to approved protocols.
• Support pre-opening preparation, including treatment menu familiarisation, operational SOPs, treatment-room standards and therapist readiness.
• Coach therapists on guest consultation, treatment recommendations, home care, retail products and membership awareness in a professional and consultative manner.
• Motivate and mentor the team while fostering a patient, positive, cooperative and professional learning environment.
• Work closely with the Spa & Clinic Director and management team to continuously improve treatment quality, training effectiveness and operational standards.
• Support spa operations and perform treatments when required, including during peak periods and for VIP or guest requirements.
