You will assist with bookings, provide detailed treatment descriptions, escort guests to facilities, process payments, and maintain a pristine reception area while upholding the highest service standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in luxury spa or hospitality, strong communication skills, and familiarity

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in luxury spa or similar field.
• Thorough knowledge of the spa industry.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Office administration, Book4Time.

Responsibilities

• Assist with booking, changing and cancelling of spa appointments
• Provide detailed descriptions of spa treatments, packages, services, and facilities
• Provide spa tours and escort guests to treatment areas
• Promote spa services and products
• Address guest complaints with empathy and courtesy, always finding a resolution to ensure complete guest satisfaction
• Handle correspondences and phone calls

• Perform opening and closing duties

• Keep the reception area clean and organised at all times
• Ensure a conducive environment at the holding area as guests wait for their turn

Position Overview

The Spa Receptionist is responsible for giving guests a positive impression of the spa from the point of reservation to the moment they arrive and depart. The individual has a vast understanding of the services and products offered, answers emails and calls, assists guests with their enquiries bookings and escort the guest to the lockers/facilities when necessary. The individual checks guests in and out of the spa in a professional manner, and ensures all guests leave satisfied.
