Job summary

Abcam, part of Danaher, seeks a Commercial Manager for Southeast Asia. This six-month fixed-term contract role is fully remote and based in Singapore, with 2–4 direct reports.

The candidate will drive growth through channel partners, engage key distributors, and collaborate with sales and marketing to expand Abcam’s footprint in Southeast Asia. You will manage market strategy, monitor performance, and train distributor teams while ensuring compliance and brand consistency.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Biology or related field.
• Strong knowledge of SEA market dynamics and channel partner networks.
• Excellent in managing customer interfaces at scientific end-user level, decision making level and procurement levels.
• Proven track record in growing Revenue through Channel Partners with a customer focus.
• Strong oral and written English communication; knowledge of a Southeast Asian language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Annual business planning for Southeast Asia to deliver growth.
• Direct market and channel partner management; evolve Go-to-Market model in SEA.
• Monitor distributor performance against KPIs and provide data-driven insights.
• Engage with end customers and KOLs to raise awareness and demand.
• Provide training and governance to distributor sales teams and ensure policy compliance.
