Job summary

Abcam seeks a Commercial Manager for Southeast Asia to drive growth across Channel Partners and direct customers from Singapore. You will lead regional market plans, strengthen distributor networks, and engage key opinion leaders to amplify product reach.

You will report to the Commercial General Manager, JAPAC, and work with the JAPAC Marketing & Sales Team, with 2–4 direct reports and a fully remote setup based in Singapore.

Qualifications

• MSc or Ph.D. in Biology or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Southeast Asia market dynamics, business regulations, and channel partner networks.
• Excellent in managing customer interface and relationships at scientific, procurement and decision-making levels.
• Proven track record in growing revenue and differentiation through channel partners.
• Strong written and spoken English; additional Southeast Asian language a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create a Southeast Asia business plan to deliver growth.
• Direct Market and Channel Partner Management: grow in Singapore and develop SEA go-to-market.
• Monitor distributor performance against KPIs and analyze sales data for insights.
• Engage end customers and KOLs to generate awareness and demand.
• Train distributor sales teams and ensure product knowledge and policy compliance.
