Job summary

Sisco Jobs in Singapore is hiring on behalf of our client for a South Indian Cook role. We seek experienced professionals with strong knowledge of traditional dishes, kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.

Selected candidates will receive food and accommodation. The position requires 12–14 working hours per day, with one day off per week. Candidates must submit working videos and a menu list to demonstrate their skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in South Indian cooking with knowledge of traditional recipes and ingredients.
• Ability to manage daily preparation, cooking stations, and kitchen workflow.

Responsibilities

• Prepare authentic South Indian dishes, including breakfast, lunch and dinner menus.
• Cook dosa, idli, vada, sambar, rasam, chutneys and regional curries to consistent standards.
• Manage ingredient preparation, cooking processes and kitchen operations.
• Maintain food quality, taste, portion control and presentation.
• Follow food safety, sanitation and hygiene practices.
• Coordinate preparation schedules to ensure timely meal service.
• Maintain kitchen equipment, storage areas and ingredient stock.
• Support menu planning and demonstrate cooking techniques when required.
