Job summary

GRAND VENTURE TECHNOLOGY PRIVATE LIMITED in Singapore seeks a procurement professional to manage costing, sourcing, and vendor performance within a manufacturing context.

You will coordinate with Engineering, Production, Planning, and Sales to drive cost efficiency and ensure timely procurement. A Diploma in SCM with 2–5 years of experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level domain knowledge in cost analysis and procurement processes.
• Experience with supplier evaluation and negotiation.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with RFQ/RFP processes and supplier selection.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP/MRP for costing and budgeting.

Job Responsibilities

• Source and assess suppliers and vendors while requesting and comparing quotations.
• Prepare comprehensive cost analyses and product cost breakdowns.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules effectively.
• Monitor material costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Maintain supplier relationships and performance records diligently.
• Support procurement, budgeting, and inventory planning initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with sourcing and purchasing policies.

Requirements

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in costing, sourcing, procurement, or purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience in sourcing precision machining or sheet metal
• Strong knowledge of BOM (Bill of Materials) costing and product cost analysis.
• Familiarity with RFQ/RFP processes, supplier selection, and vendor management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Production, Planning, and Sales.
• Capacity to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
