Job summary

RECRUIT EXPERT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Procurement and Costing specialist to source suppliers, evaluate quotations, and support costing activities across EMS and electronics manufacturing projects.

You will prepare BOM cost analyses, negotiate pricing and delivery terms, and maintain supplier performance. Collaboration with Engineering, Production, Planning, and Sales will ensure timely sourcing and project execution.

Qualifications

• Diploma in SCM or related field with hands-on costing and sourcing experience.
• Experience in EMS/electronics manufacturing or semiconductor environment preferred.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management capabilities.

Job description

Source and evaluate suppliers, obtain quotations, and compare pricing to support procurement and quotation activities.

Prepare product costing, BOM cost analysis, and pricing proposals to ensure competitive and accurate quotations.

Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms while identifying opportunities for cost optimisation.

Maintain supplier relationships, monitor vendor performance, and support purchasing and inventory planning activities.

Work closely with Engineering, Production, Planning, and Sales to ensure timely sourcing and project execution.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in costing, sourcing, or procurement within the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), electronics manufacturing, or semiconductor industry.
• Hands-on experience sourcing electronic components, PCB assemblies, and related manufacturing materials, with knowledge of BOM costing and RFQ processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems (e.g. SAP).
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
