Job summary
Tyson Jay Management Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an infrastructure presales professional to translate business needs into technical infrastructure solutions. The role covers servers, storage, virtualization, and related technologies, with engagement across customers and partners.
The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years in presales or similar roles, strong knowledge of enterprise storage, virtualization tech, and excellent presentation skills to support the sales cycle.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in infrastructure presales or similar customer-facing technical role.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise server and storage solutions (Dell Technologies, HPE, NetApp).
- Understanding of virtualization and hyperconverged infrastructure (VMware, Nutanix).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to translate requirements into practical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Engage customers to understand infrastructure requirements and translate business needs into suitable technical solutions
- Design and recommend enterprise infrastructure solutions covering servers, storage, virtualization and related technologies
- Prepare solution proposals, technical specifications, BOM and solution architecture for opportunities
- Support sales team during presales: meetings, presentations and discussions
- Work with vendors to validate solution designs, pricing inputs and requirements
- Support tender and RFP responses with technical inputs and documentation
- Conduct product demonstrations, workshops or Proof-of-Concept activities
- Maintain knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies and industry developments
