Job summary

STACKTRIBE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Solutions Architect to own technical architecture and design decisions for client delivery projects, from requirements through deployment and support.

You will collaborate with a Project Manager and serve as the technical lead for client relationships, including architecture choices and hands-on problem solving. This role requires hands-on architecture experience, ability to work independently yet grow into full end-to-end ownership, and strong skills across

Qualifications

• 5 years of hands-on software development experience, including some experience owning or significantly contributing to architecture/design decisions.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience building mobile apps with React Native and/or Flutter.
• Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles. Able to make sound architecture decisions with appropriate guidance/review, not necessarily fully independently on the most complex projects.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.).
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices.
• Experience working across the full SDLC (design, development, testing, deployment, support).
• Good communication skills. Able to explain technical concepts and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and sound technical judgment.

About the Role

We are looking for a Solutions Architect to own technical architecture and design decisions for client delivery projects, from initial requirements through to deployment and support. You will work alongside a Project Manager, who handles delivery timelines and client relationship management. You will own the technical side of the client relationship, including architecture decisions, technical requirements gathering, and hands-on problem-solving throughout the project.

We're looking for someone with solid, proven architecture experience who is ready to own technical decisions independently, but who is still growing into full end-to-end ownership.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Technical Design

• Own technical stack and architecture decisions for assigned client projects
• Design solutions that are scalable, secure, and maintainable, appropriate to each client's context and constraints
• Translate client requirements into technical designs and implementation plans
• Stay hands-on and involved through the full project lifecycle, including implementation support, troubleshooting, and deployment, not just the initial design phase

Client Engagement

• Act as the technical point of contact for clients, working alongside the Project Manager, who leads delivery timelines and the overall client relationship
• Conduct on-site visits to client offices as needed, depending on the project, to gather requirements, clarify technical issues, or troubleshoot problems
• Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Support pre-project technical scoping and feasibility discussions when needed

Delivery Involvement

• Guide the development team on architecture and technical implementation throughout delivery
• Review technical work for alignment with the agreed architecture and design
• Identify and flag technical risks early, working with the Project Manager to manage impact on timelines
• Be comfortable supporting multiple concurrent projects, prioritizing based on urgency and complexity

Requirements
