Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of experience in software project implementation.
• Experience with ERP or business software implementation is an advantage.
• Industries preferred: footwear, apparel, home goods, personal care, cosmetics, jewelry, food, retail.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full software implementation lifecycle from needs assessment to post-implementation support.
• Communicate with clients to understand requirements and provide software solutions.
• Conduct business process analysis and translate requirements into practical system solutions.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including BRDs, solution designs, test docs, and user manuals.
• Conduct system training for customers and provide ongoing support.
• Monitor project progress and coordinate stakeholders for timely delivery.
• Identify and resolve implementation issues; support small to medium projects independently.

About the Role

We are looking for an entry-to-intermediate level Software Implementation Consultant to support the implementation and delivery of ERP and business management software projects in Singapore.

The successful candidate will work closely with clients to understand their business requirements, configure and implement software solutions, conduct testing and training, and support the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the full software implementation lifecycle, including: Business needs assessment, Requirements gathering, Solution design, System configuration, Testing and troubleshooting, System launch/go-live, Post-implementation support
• Communicate directly with clients to understand their business requirements and provide appropriate software solutions.
• Conduct business process analysis and translate customer requirements into practical system solutions.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including: Business requirement documents, Solution/design documents, Test documents, User and operation manuals
• Conduct systematic software training for customers and provide ongoing support to address user queries.
• Monitor project progress and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve implementation issues during the project lifecycle.
• Support small to medium-sized implementation projects independently where required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of experience in software project implementation.
• Experience with ERP or business software implementation will be an advantage.
• Candidates with experience in the following industries are preferred: Footwear, Apparel, Home goods, Personal care, Cosmetics, Jewelry, Food, Retail
• Experience with Baison software projects will be highly advantageous.

Technical & Business Skills

• Proficient in MySQL databases and SQL statements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of retail business processes such as: E-commerce / OMS, Store POS, Distribution, Retail finance
• Ability to conduct business process research and develop practical business solutions.
• Experience independently delivering small to medium-sized software implementation projects is preferred.
• Understanding of software implementation methodologies, project delivery processes and basic project management will be an advantage.
• PMP certification will be an added advantage.
