Job summary

YouTrip in Singapore is seeking a talented Software Engineer focused on backend development to build scalable, secure services powering our fintech platform. You will contribute across the software lifecycle, design robust APIs with Golang, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality systems.

Required: 4 years backend experience, strong knowledge of distributed systems, Docker and Kubernetes, and a CS degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4 years experience in backend development or fintech environments.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented and/or functional programming paradigms and software design patterns.
• Hands‑on experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of automated testing practices, including unit and integration tests for backend services.
• Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Golang and/or gRPC is highly preferred.
