Job Description: Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Engineer with an exceptional command of backend tech to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you play a crucial role in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software systems. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of software engineers.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of complex software solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall system architecture.
• Write high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Lead or contribute to project planning and estimation.
• Collaborate with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for code, design, and architecture.
• Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with substantial experience in backend and cloud infrastructure.
• Expert-level proficiency in designing and developing high-performance, concurrent applications with Java, Python, Ruby, Scala.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools, including unit testing and integration testing for backend applications.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects, collaborate effectively with teams, and mentor junior engineers.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
• Familiarity with additional programming languages, such as Golang, is a plus.
