Job summary

YouTrip is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead backend systems and drive scalable solutions across our cloud infrastructure. You will own design, architecture, and quality, mentoring engineers and collaborating with product, QA, and operations to deliver robust software.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in software development, deep Go expertise, and a strong background in distributed systems and microservices. Experience in Java, Python, or Ruby is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software development, with backend and cloud infrastructure.
• Expert-level proficiency in designing and developing high-performance, concurrent applications with Go.
• Knowledge of Java, Python, or Ruby is a plus.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native computing.
• Strong understanding of testing (unit and integration) for backend apps.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Software Engineer with an exceptional command of backend tech to join our dynamic team. As a Staff Software Engineer, you play a crucial role in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software systems. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud native computing.
• Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools, including unit testing and integration testing for backend applications.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects, collaborate effectively with teams, and mentor junior engineers.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
