YouTrip, a leading multi-currency payment platform in Asia Pacific, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our backend team. You will provide technical leadership, design scalable systems, and mentor engineers in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science.
• 5+ years in software development with backend and cloud experience.
• Expert-level in Java, Python, Ruby, Scala.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design principles.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Testing: unit and integration testing for backend apps.
• Proven ability to lead projects and mentor engineers.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers.
• Contribute to design and architecture of complex systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with system architecture.
• Write high-quality, scalable, maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and standards.
• Lead or contribute to project planning and estimation.
• Collaborate with product managers to translate requirements into solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for code, design, and architecture.
• Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to the team.
• Work closely with product management, QA, and operations.
• Share best practices and promote knowledge sharing.
