Job summary

Lianhe Zaobao seeks an Audience Growth and Distribution Specialist to manage social media platforms and broaden reach to English-speaking audiences.

You should be fluent in English with basic proficiency in Chinese, be adept with analytics tools (Google Analytics, CrowdTangle, Sprout Social), and skilled in social-video production and multi-platform distribution across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, TikTok and LinkedIn. This is a 2-year contract with renewal based on performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant discipline; at least 6 years in social media management/digital marketing.
• Strong command of English with basic proficiency in Chinese (written and spoken).
• Experience using analytics tools ( Google Analytics, CrowdTangle ) to evaluate performance and trends.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• 5-day work week on roster including one weekend day.

Responsibilities

• Curate and/or produce social-centric content, including social cards and short-form videos using Canva, Capcut and AI-assisted tools.
• Apply social media best practices to optimize content performance across platforms.
• Develop platform-specific templates to streamline content production.
• Monitor and analyze social media performance data using Echobox, Sprout Social and Google Analytics to provide insights and recommendations.
• Build and foster engagement with social media audiences to grow reach and presence.
